MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) are sponsoring presenter Ardella Freko to speak on the very sensitive topic of Death Notification. Notifying someone that a loved one has passed away is something that each and every one of us will probably have to do at some point in our careers. The presentation will show you how to do the notification in a caring and compassionate manner, taking into account not only how it affects the person being notified but how it affects you as well.

Thousands of girls and women across the globe are murdered by male family members each year in the name of family honor. Honor killings are executed for instances of rape, infidelity, flirting or any other instance perceived as disgracing the family's honor. Anna Hermann will look at the difficulties faced by the Jordan Police in dealing with this practice that in many cases is culturally, religiously and even legally accepted.

Natasha Falle is the daughter of a police officer and during her formative teenage years found herself trapped into circumstances that plunged her into a life of child prostitution. Natasha is a determined survivor and now assists other young girls break out of the vicious cycle of commercial sexual exploitation and dependency. She will share her personal story as well as provide you with information on the warning signs that will assist you in preventing other seemingly "normal kids" from falling into "the life".
